Democrats of the Desert statement on Donald Trump's ban on transgenders in the military

The Democrats of the Desert organization strongly disagrees with Donald Trump's announced ban on transgender persons serving in the military.

Discrimination of any kind toward human beings is unacceptable, and must be opposed with vigor. The President can now add bigot to his

many negative personality disorders.

Transgender folks now and who next ? Gays and lesbians, women, persons with certain disabilities who can and do function very well otherwise?

DOD urges all folks with any dignity and compassion to appeal this horrible decision to Congressman Dr. Raul Ruiz and Senators Feinstein

and Harris, and to contact the White House directly.
