Democrats Of the Desert's Annual Food And Toy Drive For Mecca's Galilee Center

Non-perishable food items and new unwrapped toys for ages infant to 14 years are desperately needed and can dropped off beginning Nov. 15 at the Date Palm Country Club in the drop off box outside the front door of the clubhouse.

Non-perishable food items and new unwrapped toys can also be dropped off at the Brandini Toffee store located in Rancho Mirage behind Hobby Lobby in the Rancho Las Palmas Shopping Center at 111 and Bob Hope Drive. Participants who drop off their donations at Brandini will receive a generous 15% discount on purchases at Brandini Toffee beginning Nov. 15.

Last year, even during Covid, DOD donated about 300 new toys and several boxes of food items to the Galilee Center.
