Democrats of the Desert has been searching for ways to keep in touch with you during our “sheltering in place” time. Now we have two opportunities to get together using technology.
Wine & Cheese with Elizabeth. Saturday April 18th at 6 pm
Elizabeth Romero, candidate for California Senate Seat (District 28), will host a Zoom conference call for DOD members this weekend. Each DOD member will receive an email invitation to the Wine & Cheese event.
If you want to participate using video, be sure to be on a computer that has a camera and microphone, and then click on the link provided. If you want to participate using audio only, simply dial one of the phone numbers and provide the meeting code. Request the meeting link by email.
COVID-19 Update with Raul Ruiz M.D. Tuesday, April 21st at 3:45pm
DOD will hold a Zoom conference call with Dr. Raul Ruiz, our Congressional representative, as our special guest. He will join us at 4 p.m. and provide a Coronavirus update.
This call, led by President Dori Smith, will be for DOD members only and hosted by Dr. Ruiz’s staff on Zoom for more secure technology.
If you want to participate in this Zoom meeting, You must RSVP by April 20. Those who respond will receive an email invitation with a link (for video) and telephone numbers (for audio).
