Please help with Voter Registration Saturday!

Hello voter registration team,

We have a great opportunity to register voters at next Saturday’s rally to protest Trump/Session’s inhumane and unnecessary splitting of families who are seeking asylum.

We hope that all of you who are in town are planning to attend the rally anyway, but adding the opportunity to do voter registration here is a great plus for Coachella Valley Democrats.

The Basics

• The rally for family unity is being organized by courageous resistance with support from many progressive groups and elected officials

• The organizers have received interest and intentions to attend from religious groups who have not opposed trump policies before now

• Location is Frances Stevens Park at Palm Canyon & Alejo in Palm Springs

• Rally starts at 10:00 am Saturday, June 30. Voter registration table (with pop-up cover) setting up by 8:30 am

It’s a good place to help! Dynamic event with like-minded people!

We are looking for about 8 folks to sit at the voter registration table and many more to circulate in the crowd (400 RSVPs so far) with voter registration signs and direct folks to the Voter Registration table. We hope you can help!
