January 21st Women's Marches Update

Greetings Everyone,

Here's is an update for activates to protest and voice concern over the looming madness of Trump. The primary day of action is this Saturday, January 21st. I previously sent info about the one in Palm Desert at 10:30am at Civic Center Park, and now there are two others. These are both Women's Marches(not exclusively so), one is in Palm Springs, and for those in the High Desert, there is one in Yucca Valley. All three(3) take place this weekend, on Saturday, Jan 21st.I'm providing the actual Facebook event links below at the end of this message. First I'll provide the basic info on all three, for those not on Facebook.

On Saturday, January 21st, at 10:30AM, Coachella Valley will activate with the Palm Desert Trump Protest/March. We will begin at Palm Desert Civic Center Park, at 73600 Fred Waring Drive, Palm Desert, California 92260 (near the McCallum Theater, the cross street is San Pablo Ave.). Meet up near the dog park before 10:45AM. To increase visibility, we will march to, and around, the Westfield Mall. Join us from beginning to end, or anywhere along the route.

Message from the organizers: This is a peaceful protest and we will not be violent or disrespectful to any of the city business, etc. Share this event and help create the change you want to see.

In Palm Springs starting at 12 Noon, will be the Palm Springs Women's March at Frances Stevens Park at Palm Canyon and Alejo (across the street from, Koffi Coffee House).

Message from the organizers: This is an INCLUSIVE march, and EVERYONE who supports the march's goals are welcome to join this peaceful gathering! We will gather at 12:00 pm on Saturday, January 21st at Frances Stevens Park.

In Yucca Valley, their Yucca Valley Rally in Support of Women's March solidarity event will happen from 10AM-2PM at 29 Palms Highway and Old Woman Springs Road.
