The Coachella Valley Housing Coalition College Scholarship Awards Ceremony

Richard Levine presents a scholarship award to one of his selected deserving students at the CVHC Scholarship Awards luncheon at Heritage Palms Country Club June 22nd. John Mealey began the CVHC 34 years ago. At the luncheon 75 students were awarded scholarships and two top students received $2000.00 each toward their educational needs. The scholarship program began in 2002 with many deserving students being awarded. The CVHC is dedicated, along with their JFM Scholarship Fund, to helping low and very low income families improve their living conditions through advocacy, research, construction and operation of housing and community development projects.
