DOD’s September Meeting: Immigration

Be sure to mark your calendar now for a meeting about immigration at our Southern border, an issue DOD members have said is very concerning. It is heart-wrenching that government workers, ordered by the current administration, are kidnapping children from their parents and denying children showers, soap, toothpaste and healthy food. We’re hoping to have speakers from the ACLU and Border Kindness.

Also, Democratic candidates for the Palm Springs City Council election will be invited to speak. That election is Nov. 5, 2019.
