OUR GRATEFUL THANKS
From all of us on the Board of the Democrats of the Desert we offer our grateful thanks for the incredible support from our members and volunteers in 2016. While the outcome was not what we all expected or wanted we can look to the successes we did have as a team of dedicated Democrats. You knocked on hundreds of doors. Our volunteers made 12, 800 calls for candidates running for election. You registered 121 new Democrats. You came to our special events and fundraisers. You contributed over 200 toys, over 50 new clothing items, towels and toiletries and 100's of new socks to the Mecca Galilee Center during our holiday celebration (see link to video for Galilee Center below).
This is what makes a club great and we are humbled by your generosity. Our commitment going forward is strong and we appreciate all the support from our talented, giving and FUN members. So as we head into a new year with new challenges let's put our hands, hearts and talents to work together and Commit to Act 2017!
